The selection process

The process of selecting the winners of the “Tuscan Wine Experience Awards” is designed to ensure maximum transparency, fairness and rigor by involving a jury of qualified experts and adopting an evaluation system that combines application analysis, anonymous visits and collective judgments.

Receipt of Applications

Wineries interested in participating in the award submit their application online, filling in a detailed form and providing supporting documentation, such as descriptions of experiences, pictures, videos and visitor feedback.

First Selection Phase

A preliminary committee examines all applications to ensure that they meet the basic requirements and to select the finalist wineries in each category. This process is based on criteria such as the quality of the experience offered, the clarity and coherence of the application, and relevance to the specific category.

Anonymous Jury Visits

The finalist wineries are visited anonymously by members of the jury. These visits allow the judges to directly evaluate the experience offered, carefully observing all aspects of hospitality, tasting, and the link with the territory.

Evaluation and Scoring

Each judge scores the wineries visited on the basis of a standardised evaluation grid, which takes into account several criteria specific to each category. The scores are then aggregated to determine the wineries that excel in each category.

Jury Meeting and Final Decision

The members of the jury meet to discuss the results of the visits and the scores awarded. During this meeting, the winners of each category are selected. The jury's decision is final and indisputable.

Announcement of Winners

The winners are announced during the prize-giving event, which is held in a historic location in Tuscany. The results are then published in the main media and on the official award website, ensuring maximum visibility for the winning wineries.
